Samsung India introduced two new CDMA based smart phones with integrated broadband mobile TV in Indian market. Both the phones are now available on TATA indicomm and Reliance CDMA mobile service. Corby TV and Metro TV are the first ever mobile phone in India which comes pre-loaded with MimobiTV Mobile TV application, push email for Gamil and supports 8 social networking sites.

Samsung is planning to take on Blackberry maker Research in Motion with new Android Based handsets, called Samsung Galaxy Q. Galaxy Q would the business version of Samsung’s flagship Smartphone Galaxy S. Galaxy S is already the second largest mobile phone producer world wide and the largest producer in US. Samsung's Tablet: Galaxy Tape With 7-inch OLED Screen And Android 2.2 FroYo
Samsung is jumping into the tablet fray with a device powered by Google’s Android operating system. Samsung’s tablet called Galaxy Tape is expected to launch in September. The device has a 7-inch OLED screen, runs a 1.2 GHz processor, and includes 16 GB of internal memory that can be boosted to 48 GB, according to a Vietnamese site Tinhte. The Galaxy Tape–also known as Galaxy Tab–will weigh about 13 ounces and ship with the latest version of Android operating system, Android 2.2 ‘FroYo.’
Samsung: AMOLED better than iPhone 4 Retina Display
According to Samsung, the AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) Displays are much better than iPhone’s Ratina. Retina display consumes around 30 percent more battery power than the ‘super AMOLED’ display. Upcoming Samsung smartphone Galaxy S will be the one with super AMOLED display. The next generation AMOLED display doesn’t need backlights since it is powerful enough to emit itself whenever electricity is provided. This display consumes less power than conventional screens to offer clearer images.
Android-Powered Samsung Galaxy Apollo Coming Soon

Samsung considering iAd equivalent for phones, TVs?
Samsung may be following Apple’s iAd into the mobile ad space, a report claimed Friday. The electronics giant hasn’t been specific with plans but could put ads through its phones and TVs once it finishes an app store for its platforms. It’s speculated that Samsung might have to buy an online ad network but could start its own.

Samsung announces a beta release of the bada SDK, Samsung’s new open mobile platform. The SDK includes several components: an integrated development environment (IDE), Simulator, UI builder, sample applications, documentation and tutorials. Samsung bada’s IDE is based on the Eclipse CDT (C/C++ Development Tools), which is a popular development environment used by many mobile developers. The Simulator provides a local test environment without the need for a physical handset.
Rumor: Samsung To Launch Android-Tablet S-Pad with Super AMOLED
